Stokesdale, North Carolina, United States, September 19, 2025 – Ontex Group NV [EURONEXT: ONTEX], a leading international developer and producer of personal care solutions, today hosted state and community leaders at its manufacturing facility in Stokesdale to celebrate and express gratitude for the strong partnerships in North Carolina that have fueled its recent growth.
Since opening its doors in 2022, the Stokesdale facility has tripled production capacity, now producing thousands of diapers per minute and created hundreds of local well-paying jobs, employing a diverse team of engineers, technicians, machine operators, and managers.
“As we look back to our commitment to build Ontex’s first U.S. manufacturing hub in the Triad, it’s clear that decision has exceeded all expectations,” said Paul Wood, President of Ontex North America. “The facility is nearing a $100 million investment for Ontex and represents hundreds of new jobs, long-term promise to grow and expand with this community, strengthening the East Coast of our bicoastal footprint.”
As part of the event, Ontex announced the donation of diapers, training pants, and youth pants to support North Carolinians.

Federal, state and county officials, along with economic development leaders and community partners, were in attendance, including N.C. Senate President Pro Tempore Phil Berger, Rep. Reece Pyrtle, Rep. Tracy Clark and others.
N.C. Senate President Pro Tempore Phil Berger stated, “the Triad has deep roots in manufacturing, and Ontex’s commitment to our region builds on that legacy. Its growth and success are a testament to its long-term prospects in Stokesdale. If these last three years are an indication, I have no doubt that we’ll be celebrating many more milestones to come.”
