How we develop safe products

At Ontex, we strive to take care of people and the communities around us. We make safe products for a safe feeling, taking into account the needs of people, the environment, and our stakeholders.

1Source the best, safe raw materials

Building in safety starts at the first stage of a new product: the sourcing of the raw materials.

We have specific sourcing policies and use third party certification schemes to guarantee the safety standards of our products. Ontex will never compromise on the hygiene, health and safety of its users.

The OEKO-TEX® label certifies Ontex products and guarantees maximum consumer safety. All types of materials that have been tested for harmful substances, from raw materials to the finished product, may bear the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 label:

2 Test the materials and the final product

Independent labs worldwide carry out tests to confirm the safe performance of our products.

We use relevant consumer testing methods to evaluate the final product, reviewed and supported by independent experts.

3Communicate transparently

We are committed to communicating the ecological and health and safety features of our products through labels and claims on the packaging.

Our aim is to engage consumers worldwide to pay attention to the health and safety features of the products they buy, and enable them to take care of themselves.
