Ontex Group NV released its Q2 and H1 2022 results at 07:00 CET / 06:00 GMT on Friday, July 29, 2022.

Ontex announces that it has entered into a binding agreement to sell its Mexican business activities for approximately €285 million to Softys S.A., a personal hygiene company with operations across Latin America. Softys is a wholly owned subsidiary of Empresas CMPC S.A., headquartered in Chile.

Today Ontex opened a new facility in Stokesdale, part of Rockingham County in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The new Ontex plant currently employs nearly 100 people and manufactures baby diapers for retailers and lifestyle brands. The new plant is planned to expand its production and workforce to also manufacture other product categories.

Ontex Group NV will release its Q2 and H1 2022 results at 07:00 CET / 06:00 GMT on Friday, July 29, 2022. Following its strategic review announced end of 2021, Ontex has aligned its 2022 reporting structure and has restated 2021 financial data accordingly.

Ontex supports Woosh, a Belgian startup that aims to make diaper recycling a reality in Ontex’ home country. Woosh now delivers recyclable, disposable diapers and collects used diapers from more than 200 day care centres in Belgium with more than 5,200 children. Together with waste companies Woosh aims to set up the first diaper recycling facility in Belgium.
