The Board of Directors of Ontex (Euronext: ONTEX) has decided to accelerate Mr. Laurent Nielly’s appointment as Chief Executive Officer to January 13, 2026.

The Board of Directors of Ontex (Euronext: ONTEX) has decided to appoint Mr. Laurent Nielly as Chief Executive Officer, effective as from the end of Mr. Gustavo Calvo Paz’s mandate as Chief Executive Officer at Ontex’s next annual shareholders’ meeting, on May 5, 2026.

The Board of Directors of Ontex has appointed Mr. Gustavo Calvo Paz as new Chief Executive Officer, with effect from November 14, 2022, succeeding Ms. Esther Berrozpe.

Ontex announces that it has entered into a binding agreement to sell its Mexican business activities for approximately €285 million to Softys S.A., a personal hygiene company with operations across Latin America. Softys is a wholly owned subsidiary of Empresas CMPC S.A., headquartered in Chile.

Today Ontex opened a new facility in Stokesdale, part of Rockingham County in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The new Ontex plant currently employs nearly 100 people and manufactures baby diapers for retailers and lifestyle brands. The new plant is planned to expand its production and workforce to also manufacture other product categories.

Ontex announced the official opening of its Global Excellence Center (GEC) for Process Engineering and Global Platform Innovation. Ontex Group NV has entered into an agreement with Hypera S.A. settling certain claims relating to the acquisition of the Brazilian personal hygiene business of Hypera by Ontex. As part of the settlement, Ontex will receive 500 million Brazilian Reais (€81 million) from Hypera by October 1, 2021.

The Board of Directors of Ontex has appointed Mrs. Esther Berrozpe Galindo as new Chief Executive Officer, with effect from January 1, 2021. On that date, Mrs. Berrozpe will succeed Mr. Thierry Navarre, who has been acting as interim CEO since July 30, 2020.
